Our CEO Chase Michalek is the former owner of 16 GP veterinary hospitals
Our co-founder Dr. Dylan Frederickson, is a general practice DVM with over 15 years of experience as a referring DVM to surgery departments across the Midwest – first as an associate GP veterinarian, then as an emergency veterinarian of emergency and specialty center and finally as the owner of several independent general practices.
Our founding surgeon, Dr. Marc Wosar, DACVS, has over 20 years of experience practicing as a board-certified surgeon - most recently, he has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with referring GP veterinarians and owners for the last decade in their very own operating rooms as the owner of a well-respected mobile surgery practice.
This community approach with our veterinarian referral partners is a crucial differentiator for VSx.
Additionally, VSx focuses exclusively on surgery, allowing veterinarians to trust us with their most complex cases while knowing there will be no multi-specialty distractions. We offer tailored support and care coordination that ensures the best outcomes for both patients and pet owners.
