Dr. Jacob T. Goodin, DVM, DACVS-LA, is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He attended Western Kentucky University for his undergraduate studies prior to enrolling at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2006. He then completed a one-year surgical internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by a three-year surgical residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Goodin became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Large Animal) in 2011.

Outside of work, Dr. Goodin enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Emma, Eli, and Easton. He can often be found outdoors hunting, fishing, and training retrievers.
